Hey peeps! So I just had a lovely day and wanted to sit down, and blog about something – the latest mascara I’ve tried out!
My friend Ashley works with Younique, which is a company I’m sure everyone knows. Their 3D Fiber Lash Mascara is so promoted everywhere and hyped up, it’s impossible not to have heard of it by now.
The problem I have with products that are so ridiculously hyped is that before I even try the product, I feel like I’m dead bored of it because it’s so over-talked about. So I was in no rush to try out the mascara, or anything else from Younique. Probably ever.
But my friend Ashley knew I had a blog/YouTube, so she reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try the mascara out. And I’m not the type of girl that turns down free makeup! 😉
So after getting the hang of the application, which is quite tricky, I came up with my final thoughts, which will shock no one: I love it. It is a truly amazing product. But hey, the truth is the truth I guess. It simply is just a good mascara – and what it can do for your lashes IS different from anything else.
If you’re a mascara junkie, this mascara is for you. Seriously. I kind of view it as the new fake lashes, in mascara form.
My camera is not the best, and doesn’t show my lashes as full and long and thick as they were off camera, but here are some shots of me wearing it anyway.
Another perk of this mascara is that you don’t have to build it up if that’s not your style – one or two coats gives you a really natural but noticeable look.
Overall, I love this product. The hype is real haha.
My ONE dislike? The price tag. I’m such a drugstore girl at heart – I just don’t want to spend that kind of cash on ONE product. So, this is definitely a splurge item in my book – Not an everyday purchase!
What are your thoughts? Have you tried this mascara? And also, if you want to poke around at Younique’s other products as well, feel free to browse my friend Ashley’s website! She’s so sweet, I promise she won’t bite 😉
And of course, my video below: a review and also a demo of me applying it, as well as my tips!
That’s all for this post, peeps! Goodnight!
